Happy Birthday Grandma!

So this bracelet is what I made for my grandma. She has 5 children so I created a crystal ball with birthstone colors, using Swarovski crystals.  I wasn't feeling inspired for a couple of days and then this one just hit me. Hope she likes it!

Sorry about the orange-tangerine, it sticks out like a sore thumb in the photos, but when you actually look at it, it's really nice and there's a fire/ice as the 3 center crystals, kind of a red/orange (like the fire/ice rose).

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

tear drop chandelier earrings

I went to the Douglas trade show this past weekend and saw these tear dropped shapes and decided that these would make gorgeous earrings, and I think they do make pretty stunning earrings.

I will have both for sale on my etsy.com store.

Below are two (2) different types that I made. The first one is gold toned (gold plated base metal) with white opaque and clear rounded swarvoski crystals, with a few white opaque bicone swarvoski crystals as well.  The chandelier is within the tear drop shape. I think this contrast is so beautiful and the right shine makes it absolutely stunning. And the second one is a silver tone (silver plated base metal) with gray and clear rounded swarvoski crystals.  I feel both are something you can wear everyday if you wanted to, or for those special occasions as well.

Top Drilled Swarvoski Crystal Bracelet (Mineko bracelet)

This bracelet was spotted by my mom and she wanted me to make her one, which I did and made a few extra. Here are some pictures that the link to my etsy.com website where I will be selling these.

This is a purple top drilled Swarvoski crystal AB-gives it extra shine and shimmer- (which are way more expensive then side drilled) with silver crystal encrusted findings in between.

 Top: on white background
Bottom: on black background
(IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE ON THE COLORED BACKGROUNDS)

This is a rainbow of top drilled Swarvoski crystals.  I used the same silver crystal encrusted findings.

Enjoy! And as always let me know what you think.

crochet infant (girl) headband

So I've just learned how to do this and think this is so cute.

If I have a girl I'm making tons of these for her. I'm not too into accessories, but these are a must have, so cute!

One of the reasons I actually really like this is because of the fact that the flowers are interchangeable. I made them so you can change the color of your flower anytime you want to any color you want. That's a great feature.

I've made the headbands in 3 different sizes: S-6", M-6 1/2" and L-7 1/2".

Honestly, I've tried this on my son, just to see how the fit is...he's 18 months and his head is on the larger side so it fits all the way up to 18 months, as far as I can tell.  And it'll fit on newborns and younger than 18 months as well.

I am selling these on my Etsy.com store, take a gander and as always, let me know what you think.

ENJOY!

goddess headband

So I came across this online tutorial (youtube.com) for a "goddess headband" and immediately fell in love with it. It's so quick to make and I had these applique flowers lying around that I made TONS of and added it on for a little something extra and it looks pretty good (in my opinion).

These actually tie around the back for custom fit. It's so nice, my bangs and layered hair stay out of my face and I feel good wearing it, since it's something I made :0P

I will have these for sale on my Etsy.com store, please take a look and as always please let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Take a look see.

New crochet lap blanket

So I've just recently started working on this lap blanket here and there. I've started making it for my mom (with some of her favorite colors) but can't decide if I want to keep it for myself because the time I'm making it is a significant change in my life. But either way, I'll most likely give it to my mom :0)

This is a crocheted Catherine Wheel design. I learned it on youtube.com. Go figure huh? A lot of the crochet and knitting I've been learning online via youtube.com and other websites that give free patterns.

This is supposedly the front and the one below is the back, but either way looks pretty nice.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Debating if I should make and sell online, only bad thing is this takes a lot of time and yarn...

New Items!

So I've haven't been making new things lately, but I've recently had some time to make a few things. I hope you enjoy.

This is a silver colored phone charm. It has Swarvoski crystals and some silver (sparkling) findings.

This is a black colored phone charm.  It also has Swarvoski crystals and silver findings as well as some black circular charms that I just love but have not been able to incorporate them in my jewelry/bead making yet....till now.

Here I have some beautiful gorgeous white pearl & Swarvoski earrings.  These look like they would belong on a princess for her wedding day. I was just feeling the white and clear Swarvoski crystals.

I used AB Swarvoski crystals in all the above because it gives it more of a shine and shimmer that the regular crystals don't give. It's really hard to capture the shine in the crystals but I tried.

Please let me know what you think and below each picture is the link to my Etsy.com store for purchase.

Thanks.
